- @rainechanning: Well, Easton. It's been a nice run. I am so blessed to have been able to get to know each and every one of you. I love you all so much!
- @rainechanning: And now I'm off to Los Angeles!
February 2013
I didn’t, actually! It seems like we both came stag, not complaining though. It’s my last Easton event, I’ve been saying goodbye to everyone all night.
I mean I did mention it in my last video that our school was having a big formal going on and a few viewers tried asking me but no. Blind dates are a no no. Oh, your last Easton event? You’re leaving?
Ah, look who’s popular! There are plenty of good looking guys here at Easton, you should definitely make your rounds and meet some new people tonight. And yeah, I’m leaving soon. Either tomorrow or the next day - I’ve got some jobs lined up for the next fews month to keep me busy.
I believe we haven’t met yet? I’m Raine! Although I wouldn’t get too friendly with me, I’m leaving Easton soon.
Nice to meet you Raine. I’m Stella. Really? That’s a shame.
Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you Stella! How are you liking the ball? And the school in general, for that matter.
Don’t use that face on me. I’m leaving soon. You don’t want to be remembered as Kiki, the blonde girl who made pouty faces at me all the time.
Inserts my Justin Bieber “I don’t like you” gif.
Hey Haley! Yes I am, Easton’s events are always lovely. How about you? Did you come with a date?
Tell me about it. But no, I don’t have a date. I’m not really upset though, I still am pretty new here. I didn’t expect anyone to ask me, hah. How about you? I’m sure you found a date!

No.

Hi everyone!
Hello there! Enjoying the dance?
Hey Haley! Yes I am, Easton’s events are always lovely. How about you? Did you come with a date?
Hi everyone!
Hi there!
I believe we haven’t met yet? I’m Raine! Although I wouldn’t get too friendly with me, I’m leaving Easton soon.
Thanks Channing. Yeah, I do. You never answered back.
I’m sorry. Love me still? And well, I’m leaving Easton.

Please do. We can’t loose touch, Raine. I love you so much.
We won’t, I promise. And I love you too! You’re the Serena to my Dan.

But Raine…You can’t leave.
Kiran, as much as I love you, I still need to leave. I’ll call you or text you every week.

“Oh… Well I wasn’t expecting that.” He nodded, trying to take in what he was just told. “I imagine you’ve got a good reason for it but I’ll miss you. Even though we’ve had our ups and downs.” Wes replied, smiling a little. “I’m sure, I’ll be fine. No need to call anyone.” He rubbed the skin under his bruises a little. “Thanks and will do.”
“Yeah, I think it’s better for me to go back to LA and home school the rest of my senior year. I love Easton and all but it’s not really the same anymore, you know?” She smiled, glad that he hadn’t taken it too harshly. “Are you sure? Promise?” Raine asked, raising her eyebrows at Wes. “Call me, okay? Don’t disappear completely.”
I’m sorry, I don’t think I heard you correctly. What was that?
You heard me correctly… I’m leaving Easton. But don’t worry about it, I’ll come visit! And you can come visit me whenever you want.

“Just say whatever comes to mind and I’m sure I’ll make some sense of it.” Wes replied, smiling at the girl. “Oh, it’s from lacrosse. It stings a little but I’m okay so don’t worry.” He told her, he was lying a little. It was because of lacrosse that he got the injury but it wasn’t on the field. “You look great by the way.”
“I’m uh, I’m leaving Easton,” the brunette explained quickly, her voice low. He was the first person she’d told at Easton and she wasn’t sure how he’d take it. “Are you sure? Do you want me to call someone or something?” She asked, still not assured about the boy’s injuries. “Thanks, you look great too. Micah looks lovely too, let her know I said that.”
Has anyone seen Kiran or Kiki tonight?

With Micah having a dance with Zach, Wes made his way to find Raine. Since she told him that she had something to tell him, he was worried about she wanted to say. And he worried about what she’d think about the bruises on his face. After a few minutes, Wes had found the girl. “Hey.” He said, making himself known to the girl.
“Hey Wes,” Raine grinned once she noticed the male approaching her. “I’m glad you could come see me. Well, um, I don’t know how to say what I want to say,” the brunette stated honestly, her eyes fixed on the visible bruises on his face. “What happened?” She questioned, her thumb making its way to the bruises on his face. Swiping the skin underneath it, she looked at him with a look of worry on his face.
- Raine: Hey. You're going to the ball tonight, right?
- Wes: Yeah, I'm going to the ball. Why?
- Raine: Okay, cool. I need to talk to you and I'd rather do it in person.
- Raine: Hey. You're going to the ball tonight, right?
Congratulations tonight, everyone! I only got to catch the last half but you guys did great from what I saw.

January 2013
Even though he would never admit it out loud, Wes missed Raine. More than he even wanted to admit to himself. After finding out that he had drunkenly slept with KC Carlton, it was only Raine’s opinion of him was the only one that he cared about. Even though they weren’t together, he just wished that she wouldn’t hate him for it. Sure hate was probably unlikely but he was still worried about what she would think of him.
To Wes’ surprise, he had received a text message from his ex-girlfriend. A trip to the coffee shop was on the cards just like they normally would’ve done when they were close friends. Now it was time to stop avoiding the girl and try to be her friend again. Wes replied saying that he was on his way before putting on a coat and leaving for Silvia’s. He entered the coffee shop, threw a smile in Raine’s direction and headed to the barista to order his usual mocha. As he waited, Wes went to sit down on the table that Raine was situated at. “Hey, Raine.” He spoke.
“Hi,” Raine greeted as Wes grab his order from the barista and proceeded to make his way towards her direction. She wasn’t really sure what to say, a knowingly likely occurrence when she’d texted the male to hang out. When the going got tough, Wes seemingly always pushed her away – a similar instance to her when she was trying to make sense of her lasting feelings for one of Easton’s ex-students. “So, um, how are you?” the brunette asked.
Grabbing her beverage, she took a small sip of the burning liquid and swallowed it down. “It’s been awhile,” she laughed nervously, fidgeting with her coffee cup. Tearing off a piece of her cinnamon roll, the girl popped it in her mouth, attempting to busy herself from the awkward atmosphere that seemed to envelope the pair. “How was your New Years’?” she asked, looking up at the boy who sat opposite of her.
Easton Corbin - A Little More Country Than That
It’d been weeks since Raine had talked to Wes, their last encounters being days before their return to Easton. Needless to say, their conversations were brief – neither having any idea of what to say to one another. It was a disappointment to say the least, especially since the two teenagers had once been best friends. Their relationship had wrecked their friendship, something that the brunette had been worried about when they began dating. She didn’t really want to break up with Wes, but the superstar knew that she had to. It wasn’t fair for her to continue to date Wes when she still had strong, lingering feelings for a certain artist. But now that Josh had left Easton, it was time for Raine to worry about other things like trying to fix her broken relationship with Wes.
Texting the Ketlar housed boy, Raine texted him asking him to meet her at the coffee shop if he wasn’t busy. This would be the continuation of their friendship – or at least so she hoped. Grabbing her belongings, the brunette walked out of her Billings dorm and towards Silvia’s shop. After the short walk, she reached the coffee shop and entered the building. Entering the nonexistent line, the girl ordered herself a caramel macchiato and a cinnamon roll to accompany it. Minutes passed and she finally received her order. Thanking the barista, the girl walked over to an empty table and seated herself.
Someone come play in the snow with me.

I would love to hang out with you, just name the time and place Raine and I’ll be there.
Definitely, I’ll let you know soon. Then we can talk about how we’re stuck in the freezing cold Connecticut rather than flying around in our private jets.

Remember these?
That’s why I’m here unfortunately. I’ve been back for like two weeks maybe?
How are you?
Ah, the infamous marijuana photos. You get caught smoking once and you’re shipped off to boarding school.

I’m okay, just thankful for it being Friday. Since you’re back, we’ll have to hang out soon. No questions asked.
Hi Raine, you look dashing today.
Aw, as do you! How have you been? And what are you doing at Easton when you can be taking on the world with a Christian Reeves tour?
